Welcome to RyeStream, the Ryedale Festival’s online platform. It’s here to share great music from beautiful Ryedale places with you, wherever you are in the world.
In May 2021, seven programmes of great music filmed in beautiful Yorkshire locations in spring 2021, interleaved with specially-created wildlife filmography, were shared by the Ryedale Festival with viewers throughout the world.
These concerts are no longer available to view online, but we will soon release a series of RyeStream shorts featuring highlights from the Spring Festival: these will be available on this page and on our YouTube Channel. In the meantime you can see a Compilation Film of the concerts below.
Please make a donation to support our digital programme if you can. Every gift will make a difference and ensure that future audiences will be inspired by live music in Ryedale. Thank you.
ARCHIVE
In July 2020, we broadcast an Online Festival consisting of eight live concerts from three beautiful Ryedale venues. The full concerts are no longer available to view, but short clips of each event are available below for all to enjoy, plus a recording of the ‘Yorkshire poet’ and broadcaster Ian McMillan, reading his ‘Christmas poem for our times’, I see a Star, that was written especially for our 2020 Christmas RyeStream. In December 2020 we also recorded a special RyeStream celebrating the music of Richard Shephard; this can be seen below and on our YouTube channel.
