Joseph Howard Seven Mercies WORLD PREMIERE

Seven Mercies is a Community Song Cycle by composer Joseph Howard and writer Emma Harding, inspired by the famous murals of Pickering Church, which will be introduced before the performance by Dr Kate Giles of the University of York. A celebration of local heritage and local talent, it is about countering difficult times through small acts of kindness and selflessness, taking the form of a journey through hardship into light and offering a hymn of praise to small, everyday acts of kindness and bravery. Presented in association with the Richard Shephard Music Foundation. The performance will last approximately 50 minutes with no interval.

Tickets: £10, £5 (UNDER 18)
