Wit, energy and abandon run through Ligeti’s sparkling Bagatelles, just as the stories of Winnie-the-Pooh were among the inspirations for three short ‘reflections’ by Oliver Knussen. The Orsino Ensemble then join Imogen Cooper to play a piece that Mozart himself believed to be one of the greatest things he ever composed.
