The Ukrainian violinist Aleksey Semenenko has been widely praised for his spellbinding virtuosity and passionate commitment. He joins pianist Inna Firsova for a programme that takes in the disarming simplicity of Mozart’s earliest violin sonata, a captivating work Poulenc composed in memory of a great Spanish poet, along with a shot of adrenaline in the form of some virtuosic violin showpieces. Tickets include coffee, tea and cake in the interval.
