Bach Prelude from Violin Partita no.3
Finch/Bhriain Wonder, Whispers, Woven, Waggle, Wish
One of the most gifted Irish violinists of her generation has built an impressive partnership with a former Royal Harpist from across the Irish sea on the coast of Wales. Together, Aoife and Catrin make a formidable duo, exploring the cultures of their home countries alongside a multitude of wider influences. After opening with Bach, they present tracks all beginning with the letter ‘W’ (from their latest album ‘Double You’) inspired by shared enthusiasms such as the famous waggle dance that bees use to tell their fellow workers where nectar sources can be found.
