The consummate artistry of Dame Sarah Connolly has made her one of the country’s best-loved singers. For this recital, she presents Schumann’s famous song cycle A Woman’s Love and Life and Britten’s evocative settings of poems by Thomas Hardy, Winter Words, along with songs by Brahms and Frank Bridge.
This replaces the previously advertised recital by Ian Bostridge who has been advised by his doctors to have time off to recover from heart valve surgery.
