Covid-19: Additional Event Terms and Conditions
There have been some minor amendments to our Terms and Conditions. Please ensure you have read and are aware of the Terms and Conditions relating to the date(s) for the event(s) you will be attending: both sets are listed below.
Ts & Cs APPLYING TO EVENTS PRIOR TO JULY 19TH
In order to minimise the risk of Covid-19 transmission to ticket-holders, staff, volunteers and performers, the following terms and conditions apply in addition to our usual terms and conditions:
Please do not attend if you or anyone in your household or support bubble have any of the following symptoms, or has experienced these symptoms in the past 10 days and has not received a negative result from a PCR test:
- A high temperature
- A new, continuous cough
- a loss or change in your sense of smell or taste
Research indicates that the symptoms of the delta variant can include a headache, sore throat and runny nose. Although these symptoms do not require self-isolation, we ask audiences to be mindful of these symptoms and make informed decisions with regards to attendance at events.
The Ryedale Festival will offer a full refund to ticket-holders who are unable to attend in order to comply with Government advice including self-isolation. Please contact the Box Office on 01751 475777 or email box.office@ryedalefestival.com as soon as possible if this is the case.
All other refunds will be offered in line with our ordinary terms and conditions.
If you are feeling well and able to attend we ask that you follow our guidelines to minimise the risk of Covid transmission, which will be updated regularly in line with government advice.
- wear a face covering at all times indoors unless exempt
- Use hand sanitiser regularly
- Follow the instructions of our staff and volunteer team
- Use the NHS Track and Trace app or provide the name and contact number of all attendees in your group.
- Arrive no more than 45 minutes before the performance begins
The Ryedale Festival is operating vendor-allocated seating for all Festival events and this year will have reduced capacity to prioritise audience safety. We ask that ticketholders follow instructions for entering and leaving the building as directed by our stewarding team at all times.
Up to six individuals or two households may sit together at events. Where possible, please buy tickets together, or leave a comment when booking. Alternatively, you can contact the box office by phone or email.
Responsibility for informing the Box Office of mobility and access needs lies with the ticketholder and should be advised at the time of booking. The Ryedale Festival will make reasonable adjustments to allow access where at all possible.
All plans are tied to the government’s roadmap for relaxing Covid measures and are therefore subject to change. The Ryedale Festival reserves the right to adjust venue capacity in-line with Government advice.
