Stewart Campbell

Stewart joins the Ryedale Festival with a wealth of experience in classical music management, having previously led artistic programmes and cultural organisations in the arts, higher education, and voluntary sectors.

Stewart holds a Bachelors degree in Music; a Masters degree in Business Administration; has been awarded chartered status with the Chartered Management Institute; and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Most recently, Stewart has completed a PhD researching audiences for classical music in partnership with the Oxford Lieder Festival, where he has also served as Acting Director of Administration. Alongside music management, Stewart is a professionally trained tenor and has held lay clerk positions with a number of cathedral choirs across the country.
