Where shall the weary traveller find rest? For centuries, composers and poets have found inspiration in the hours of darkness, a time for dark fears and magical dreams. In this candlelit sequence of music, The Gesualdo Six are joined by cello, whose dark, resonant lines deepen the music’s nocturnal character, drawing listeners into a hushed sound world of shadowed harmonies.
