Sledmere House and Church are the venues for two short concerts, both performed twice. Audiences will begin in one venue then, after a picnic interval in the grounds, swap places to hear the second programme.

Brahms Serenade no.1 in D

Music with an open-air glow and the give-and-take of genuine conversation, as Maria Włoszczowska joins colleagues for the original nonet version of one of Brahms’s most loveable and lyrical works. 

The grounds of Sledmere will be open from 4.30pm for concertgoers to picnic; and there will be a further picnic opportunity during the 45-minute interval between performances, when a bar will also be available.
