There is a train station in Selby, which is an approximate 10-minute walk to the Abbey. There are connections to Hull, Halifax, and Leeds from Selby.
There are buses from Leeds and York as well as local towns and villages. Please check bus times.
There is a small parking area close to the North transept (accessible from Church Lane) only for disabled drivers. Disabled access is via the South Transept doorway, and there is level access from the town in that direction and throughout the Abbey. Wheelchairs are usually given places at the front of the South Transept.
There is an accessible toilet in the Abbey.
