One of Britain’s most exciting vocal ensembles brings its rich, vibrant and versatile sound to a celebration of Christmas.
Spanning five centuries, their programme moves from motets by Byrd and Poulenc to music by John Rutter and Coldplay. There are angels and bells, ancient chants and close harmony, alongside the stillness of Warlock’s Bethlehem Down, the luminous simplicity of Elizabeth Poston’s Jesus Christ the Apple Tree and the irresistible energy of Carol of the Bells.
