Magnetic Field: The Marsden Poems
Growing up among the hills of West Yorkshire, Simon Armitage always associated his early poetic experiences with the night-time view from his bedroom window. Now Poet Laureate and one of the country’s most loved writers, he visits Ryedale to read from Magnetic Field, which gathers together his poems on Marsden, the village where he grew up. He will also take questions from the audience.
This event will last around 40 minutes and will be followed by a book signing.
