Booking Ryedale Festival tickets

General booking opens on May 22nd; prior to this, we invite Ryedale Festival Members and Friends to take advantage of their priority booking periods. Priority booking periods are as follows:.

  • Gold Members: 24th – 29th April
  • Gold & Silver Members: 1st – 6th May
  • Friends: 8th – 20th May
  • General Booking and Box Office open from 22nd May

Priority bookings are only accepted by post.

After the General Booking commencement date, tickets may be booked in three ways: by post, by phone or online. Enquiries about concerts may be handled by email but the booking will still need to be done by one of these methods.  

  • For parties wishing to be seated together please send your booking forms in the same envelope.
  • Please note that a £2.00 handling charge applies to all bookings.

Monday 9.30am to 3.30pm;

Tuesday - Friday 9.30am to 2.00pm;

Saturday 9.30am to 12.00pm

'The Ryedale Festival Booking form is available either in the brochure or on the website. The booking form “Payment Details” section allows for an indication of special requirements. Do append information about these requirements such as the need for wheelchair space or Blue Badge parking.

  • Cheques should be payable to ‘Ryedale Festival’.
  • If acknowledgement is required of your postal booking please include a SAE.
  • Please be sure to mark your name, address and postcode clearly on all correspondence.

The phone will operate during the Box Office opening times.  When using the phone please mention any special requirements such as the need for wheelchair allocations, disabled parking spaces.  Unless these are booked in advance it may be difficult to accommodate them at the concert, though the Site team will always do their best.

  • Please note that there are some venues where the festival does not handle the parking
  • Payment may be made by Credit/Debit card.

The Box Office phone will be available from the Box Office Opening date.

Online

All the online booking is done through Ticketline and you will be routed automatically to their website to book the tickets.  

There are three ways to book online. 

    1.  By selecting the “Events Available Online” button on the "2017 Summer Summary". This allows you to select a number of concerts from those available for sale online and book them in one block. This option allows you 7 minutes to select the concerts and pay for them. It has the normal standard charge of £2.00 .
    2. By selecting the "Online Booking” button against an individual event in the Summary Programme. This will take you through to Tickets. Each individual booking will incur the normal £2.00 charge.
    3. By selecting the ”Ticketline” button on the Full event description. Again the normal £2.00 charge will apply.

Please remember

  • Membership discounts are not available online
  • Not all concerts will be available to book online
  • Online booking starts when the General Box Office opens
  • Should you have any special requirements please contact the Box Office by Phone

General booking information

Memberships

To become a Festival Gold Member (£250 p.a.), Silver Member (£150 p.a.), Friend (£50 p.a.) or Under 25 Member (£10 p.a.) please add the appropriate amount to your ticket order. Priority Booking Terms

During the priority booking periods, Gold, Silver and Friend Members may purchase up to two tickets per event; Gold members receive a 20% discount, and Silver members a 10% discount, on one ticket per event. There are no discounts for Friends. When booking extra tickets please note these will not be handled until the priority booking periods are complete and only if space allows. If ordering for more than one member please include all names on the form.

Accessibility / Parking

Some of our venues have limited access for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility. If you have any special requirements, including Blue Badge parking, please inform the Box Office when ordering tickets, or use the Accessibility Requirements section on the Booking Form. Please note there are some venues where Ryedale Festival does not handle the parking.

Returns

The Festival cannot accept returns at less than one week’s notice prior to the Festival. The final date for all refunds will be Friday 7th July. Before this date, a refund will be paid (less a 10% handling charge) for any ticket returned and subsequently resold.

Other notes

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the festival reserves the right to change artists, programmes and venues without prior notice. Please note especially that all actors appearing in the festival, especially in Events 7, 13, 17, 23 and 31 are subject to availability.
  • Please note that many festival venues are not designed as concert halls and some seats may have a restricted view.
  • Timings of concerts have been scheduled to ensure that audience members can attend both the evening concert and the subsequent late night concert  where applicable. However, late night concerts may start slightly later than advertised if the earlier concert overruns.
  • Doors open approximately 30 minutes before advertised performance times.
